“I guess I always knew the score, this is how our story ends” – debut column on Kiki&Tea

September 5, 2012 Carly Findlay 2 Comments

There are some words that feel more comfortable published somewhere else. This is a piece I wrote for my debut on Kiki & Tea, as a result of a difficult (yet also somewhat easy) decision to make. Sometimes it takes a bang to make you get your shit together.

“So no of course we cant be friends
Not while I’m still this obsessed
I guess I always knew the score
This is how our story ends”
(Garbage – Cup of coffee)
~
I wrote him a letter to set my heart free. And so the future begins, lighter and brighter ♥

Read my post here. And then give me a hug.

Thanks for having me KiKi & Tea.

    {{{hugs}}}

    I've never had my heart broken, but when I was young I stupidly broke someone's heart. I thought he would be happier without me; I didn't realize how hurt he would be.

    I find I can very easily live without love. Or maybe I'm just too cold to feel those butterflies.
