Accusations of faking cancer are as hurtful as cancer fakers

I’ve seen some chatter on Threads about a cancer faker. Ugh. What a low act.

I also wrote extensively on cancer faker Belle Gibson and Apple Cider Vinegar.

Accusations of faking cancer are as hurtful as cancer fakers.

When I was diagnosed with Ovarian & Endometrial Cancer, and knowing that I’m a public figure I took great care to use factual terminology. I had boundaries around what I did not share. My oncologist thanked me for being responsible on social media.

But I was accused of faking cancer by some online bullies. I knew it would happen, that’s how they are.

I am not great at photoshop so yes I really was in that chemo chair! And under that pillow case, chemo is going into my veins (I’m just too needlephobic to look at it!)
